Finding IT`s Upside in the Downturn ( Page 1 of 2 )
The economy may be tanking, but that doesn’t mean the hopes and priorities of IT leaders are in a freefall.

Dan Gingras expected panic.

Gingras, a former CIO at Bausch & Lomb and Watts Regulator Co. and now a partner at the consultancy Tatum LLC, frequently consults with CEOs and corporate boards on IT strategy. After the Wall Street fallout and the looming uncertainty following it, Gingras expected his clients to sound the alarm, particularly on IT spending.

a lukewarm attitude

not very warm,or enthusiastic about things can make someone as a snob. It maybe that expectations are not being met, standards are high or getting a pleasant approval is nothing else but difficult. Today, we hear Christmas melodies,  well wishers passing by and resolutions being made. We hear friends coming home, friends going abroad and others moving on  wishing Christmas time is as meaningful as ever. We can also imagine how the world looks like on the other side as economic downturn take its toll. We are very blessed for being where we are now. We should feel warm that we are not forgotten. Let’s appreciate the gifts around us and give to Him our sincerest praise. Being lukewarm about things is dangerous. It can lead us into nothingness, a noBODY. We can be like bystanders looking on and hoping someone will recognize us. God sees us and recognizes us. Let us not be a snob. Today, in this Christmas season, let us raise our Spirit, enjoy the simple things around us, and acknowledge the gifts of Life and Graces. :-) Wishing all a wonderful and blessed time this Christmas.
