Song: Dreaming of You

Friday, June 9, 2006

Artist: Selena

Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I stay up and think of you and I wish on a star
That somewhere you are thinking of me too

‘Cause I’m dreaming of you tonight
‘Til tomorrow I’ll be holding you tight
And there’s nowhere in the world I’d rather be
Than here in my room dreaming about you and me

I wonder if you ever see me (see me)
and I wonder if you know I’m there (am I there, am I?)
If you looked in my eyes would you see what’s inside
Would you even care

I just wanna hold you close but so far
All I have are dreams of you
So I wait for the day (wait for the day) and the courage to say
How much I love you
Yes, I do

I’ll be dreaming of you tonight
‘Til tomorrow I’ll be holding you tight
And there’s nowhere in the world I’d rather be
Than here in my room dreaming about you and me

Ahh ahh
Corazón
(I can’t stop dreaming of you)
No puedo dejar de pensar en ti
(I can’t stop dreaming)
Como te necesito
(I can’t stop dreaming of you)
Mi amor, como te extraño

Late at night when all the world is sleeping
I stay up and think of you
And I still can’t believe
That you came up to me and said
I love you
I love you too

Now I’m dreaming with you tonight
‘Til tomorrow (’til tomorrow) and for all of my life
And there’s nowhere in the world I’d rather be
Than here in my room dreaming with you endlessly

(Dreaming with you tonight)
(’Til tomorrow) With you tonight (’Til tomorrow)
(I’ll be holding you tight)
(And there’s nowhere in the world I’d rather be) rather be
(Than here in my room dreaming with you) I’ll be dreaming of you tonight
(endlessly, endlessly)
I’ll be dreaming of you tonight
And I’ll be holding you tight (’til tomorrow)
Dreaming with you (endlessly) tonight
(Endlessly, endlessly)
(Dreaming)

Market Square in Maastricht

Friday, June 2, 2006

Tess and I went to Maastricht Market Square yesterday around 5pm. We went window shopping. There were many things to see. My feet were aching. We ended the stroll at a supermarket, bought food and went straight to the bus station. We waited long for the right bus to come until 10pm. Unforgettable was the experience of waiting under a cold weather and talking to a drunken man. I think Dutch people have policies that it’s necessary to be nice with drunken man to avoid any further conflicts. Tess did the same way. She entertained him, despite the chill of the weather. Of course, both of us were frightened until saved by the coming of the bus. We took the right bus though but it had a longer route compared to the bus we should have taken. Yet, it was better than be left there with the man.
