I switched on the TV this morning and saw a depressing scene in Sudan. There were women sweeping the ground of rice and grains mixed with the dirt and dust. There was not enough food to feed the people. They were crying and children were malnourished to be left alone and stand on their own feet.
As I left home for work, I saw a 13 year old boy going to school and between his left fingers was a cigar. It was sad to note that at an early age he was already wasting his allowance. Then without a thought, he threw the cigar bud on the street. What kind of future do we see for this child?
When I came to school, litters were all over the stairs. Candy wrappers, biscuit wrappers, papers, etc.. I wanted to sweep and clean them off. Imagine cleaning the stairs from the ground to the third floor.. People don’t care anymore. For people who do care, what can we do to make a difference in all this?
